Veterans Day with Tackitt Family Vineyards

On Thursday, we honor the men and women who sacrificially serve (and previously served), protect, and defend our country. First known as Armistice Day, President Woodrow Wilson set aside the day of November 11 (the first anniversary of the signing of the armistice ending WWI) to recognize and thank our American soldiers for their service.

ko-ze will be pouring EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Cellars wines from Tackitt Family Vineyards, where Leon Tackitt is the winemaker and a Veteran himself, having served for 28 years in the U.S. Navy EOD community. Leon and Doug were former colleagues and served together. Doug, one of our owners, served our country for 31 years in the U.S. Navy Special Operations and worked extensively with the EOD community, so this holds a special place in our hearts.

Let’s all raise a glass to our Veterans on this special day.

On November 11th from 4pm-8pm please join us for a flight of these 4 beautiful wines for $20. All proceeds go to the EOD Foundation.
